• Advent and Christmas with FKPS
  We would like to warmly invite you to our concerts in the pre-christmas time. They will be held in traditional places like church of St. Simon and Judae, church of St. Salvator, Chapel of Bethlehem, but for those who like to discover new things there is also a nice new concert hall of Prague's concervatory. We prepare for example the Ceremony of Carols of Benjamin Britten with excelent harp accompaniment from Jana Boušková, cycle of carols of Václav Trojan for choir and wind quintet Betlém, and of course there will also be the famous Czech Christmas Mass from Jakub Jan Ryba. FKPS was awarded bronze in Tours
The foerster female chamber choir made with its conductor Jaroslav Brych a week journey at the end of May to Germany and France.
From jubilee of 40th anniversary of International choir festival Florilege Vocal (www.florilegevocal.com), that is held in a city of Tours on Loire in France, the choir bring a third price in the cathegory of equal voices.

FKPS celebrated on 24th October 2010 on a gala concert in the church of sv. Šimona a Judy 35th anniversary of foundation of the choir. Within the nice congratulator were solist of National theatre of Prague Dana Burešová, ancient conductors Zdeněk Šulc and Jana Veverková, director Václav Mazáček, conductor Čestmír Stašek, compositor Vadim Petrov, many ancient members of the choir and many other important guests. We would like to thank all of present members of audience for making an unforgettable atmosphere.
